Every year we celebrate the Victory Day in May. To the British people it is known as the VE Day – Victory in Europe. To the Russian people it is the most important event in the WWII: the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Every year the Russian and British Veterans come together on 9 May and lay wreaths to the Soviet War Memorial in the park of the Imperial War Museum. It is the most humble experience we know. Sadly, every year less and less Veterans turn up at the Soviet War Memorial. Time does not spare the heroes. We are trying to support our Veterans while we can. Every year we organise a Victory Day concert in honour of the Veterans. In 2019 the 74th Anniversary concert will be held at Rossotrudnichestvo.
