National Civil Committee Discusses Cooperation with the LDPR & State Duma Intl. Department

Today the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Civil Committee Anton Samoilenko met with the Head of the International Department of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Valery Voronin.

The meeting discussed issues of international cooperation, in particular, the issue of interaction between Russia and Great Britain in the field of social, cultural and political communications. The issues of the formation of the All-Russian and international image of the LDPR party, as well as the creation of an international committee for the development of Russian-British relations were discussed.

Within the framework of the meeting, an emphasis was placed on building ties with the European and British parliaments. Anton Samoilenko said that the establishment of communications between Russia and the EU countries can be established only through friendly ties that have been formed by the National Civil Committee during the period of cooperation with the Westminster Russian Forum over the past 7 years, the British partner of NGK. The meeting also spoke about the visit of the Liberal Democratic Party delegation to London, which is planned for early 2021.

The National Civil Committee, together with the Westminster Russian Forum, will create a roadmap for establishing communications between the Liberal Democratic Party and the EU parliamentarians. Recall that on December 11, 2020, an online conference was held on the establishment of international and interstate relations between Russia and the West, which was organized by the National Civil Committee, the Westminster Russian Forum and Rossotrudnichestvo.
