The WRF Network – Offering Practical Support, Mutual Aid & Guidance For the Duration of the Coronavirus Pandemic

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to take hold and countries around the world begin locking-down to mitigate the spread of the virus, many people will be naturally concerned. With those over 70 years of age also facing isolation and populations minimising social contact, day to day functions and business may become more difficult.

With this in mind the WRF is launching the WRF Network – We have many hundreds of supporters and members from across a wide range of sectors with a range of skills. Business and our day to day routines must continue where possible and where we can, within the norms of official government guidelines.

The WRF Network is a free to access mutual aid network designed to help you and your families, those in isolation and to support business to include:

  • Business facilitation – if you need a lawyer, accountant, family office, architect or any other professional – we can likely recommend one from our network. Please email in your request.
  • Mutual Aid – Stuck at home in isolation and need something delivered? Please get in touch and we will see if any of our members are able to assist.
  • Support your Russian Stores – Want to stockpile some pelmeni or find some buckwheat? There are many stores around the UK, get on touch and we can identify your local store
  • Visa Support – we work with a range of official bodies and if you are looking for visa support we can recommend our partners to assist.
  • Official Guidelines – will be circulated when announced.
  • Volunteer as a British Red Cross Community Volunteer -for emergency community support.

Any volunteers will be greatly welcomed to support our efforts.

We are passionate about supporting the UK-Russian and CIS community – if we can be of any assistance the Westminster Russia Forum is here to assist. Please get in touch by emailing [email protected] or calling our office.

At this time of unprecedented change and disruption, we urge you all to take care, look after yourselves, loved ones and neighbours and for our part will do all it can to assist.  This will be a worrying time for many up and down the country as well as in Russia and across the world – we have many friends in the Anglo-Russian community and will do all we can to assist – so please do not hesitate to get in touch.

With luck and support from the Board of the Westminster Russia Forum
