The Board of the Westminster Russia Forum welcomes the publishing of the long awaited Russia Report.
We called for this in late 2019 and welcome the opportunity, along with everyone else to read the findings of the report – once known it will put to bed the many questions that have been hanging above the report and its content since 2019.
Once known the public and our political establishment can then debate the findings and move ahead, learn the necessary lessons and then re-focus on the more important matters of our bilateral ties – namely that of people to people relations, trade, culture and the push to improve relations at the strategic level.
In the meantime we, like all other concerned parties welcome the publishing announcement of this report which to date has been a distraction from other more positive areas of our mutual ties.
