🔹Russo-🇬🇧British trade is developing dynamically but differently. Since the end of 2016 there has been significant increase in turnover due to Russian export. British export has been declining slightly.
🔹 In 2018 Russia became the UK’s 11th trading partner outside the EU, and the UK’s ranked as Russian 14th trading partner.
🔹 In the first half of 2019 the growth of trade is 7,7%. In this period non-energy export from Russia to the UK demonstrated 30% growth.
🔹 Key factors of growth of the Russian non-energy export: fertilizers, fish and seafood, various products from non-precious metals. Russia’s exports of gems and metals, mineral fuels, feed and wood products are also increasing.
🔹 Russia is the third largest supplier of platinum group metals to the UK after South Africa and Switzerland.
🔹 There is a need of an exchange of experience and the implementation of innovative solutions, especially in the fields of digitalisation, energy efficiency, waste management, new supplies and others.
🔹 There is a potential in cooperation in financial sector. New solutions and Big Data stimulate the emergence of new market players and reveal new opportunities.
🔹 New business opportunities exist in the fields of information technologies, construction, medical solutions and services.
